January 4th... What a day!

Wow. There are so many thoughts in my head right now! Please bare with me as I try to get them all out!

So, Tuesday night was the Iowa Caucus, as you already know by now. Santorum missed first place by 8 votes! EIGHT VOTES! It just goes to show you how important it is to exercise your right to vote because you really can make a difference.

Yesterday morning, just hours after the Iowa Caucus was over, Michele Bachmann announced she would no long be in the race for President. Which brings up an interesting situation, who will her supporters go to? Tuesday night had everyone believing that, Perry would be out but, only 12 hours later he Twitted that he was going on to North Carolina opting out of New Hampshire. So, her supporters could go to Perry or, Santorum or, anyone else that's left. I tend to hope that they will go to Santorum, because her and him were more alike.

Gingrich said that he would team up with others to out vote Romney. So much for the Mr. Nice Guy game. Is it just me or, does anybody else remember a few debates ago, Gingrich refusing to speak bad about Romney. Guess things have changed.... This Reagan conservative just broke Reagan's 11th commandment. Need I restate it here?

John McCain has now endorsed Romney, his one time rival in 2008. So essentially we've gone from this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W397rkQX8Cg to this http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/video/sen-john-mccain-endorses-mitt-romney-15289715
Politics is the most puzzling and yet electrifying thing...

Meanwhile on the other side of things, Jimmy Carter is giving Obama election advise... I pray Obama takes it. In the words of Glenn Beck "After all, Jimmy Carter only lasted one term, and then we got Ronald Reagan!" http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/01/03/jimmy-carter-obama-2012-reelection_n_1181972.html Did I really just post a link form the Huffing and Puffington post on my blog?!

That's all for today!
