It's been a while.

Hello Readers,

I know it's been over 2 months since my lost post. I honestly haven't felt like writing lately but, now I'm on a Facebook fast so, you may be seeing more of me around here! :)
Well, I guess I should fill you in on what I've been up to! God has been teaching me sosooo much about him and how to love him through pain and hurt. I've got a great group of friends who have been helping me through life! There is so much to say that I can not because, this is a blog and not a diary... Needless to say, I am learning everyday how my plans are not God's plans. Just when I thought I had everything planned out, he changes that plan of mine!
So, since my last post, I've gotten slightly into country music. I know, I know those of you who know me are laughing. Really though, some of it is so patriotic and I feel like some country songs were written just for me! Right now, I'm loving, "Made In America" and "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue" both by Toby Keith 'Independence Day" by Martina Mcbride "Knee Deep" and "Chicken Fried" both by the Zac Brown Band and "Crazy Town" by Jason Aldean. Also, pretty much any Lady Antebellum

I've also been very busy with debate. It's been crazy but ton of fun. My team has won some awards so that's been encouraging! We're going to to the state capital (Austin) in a month for a debate there! Also, I'm in Youth and Government which is very similar to debate and I will be going back to Austin in January with them! I am excited Austin, Texas is one of my very favorite places on earth! I haven't spent much time there so I'm glad for the change! :)
Homecoming is this weekend! I'm looking forward to it! It's my first year to go. Youth and Government is hosting it so we will be decorating most of the day Saturday to get ready for the dance.

Okay, I've held out as long as I could without talking about politics! So, there hasn't been a debate in over 2 weeks and it's driving me crazy! I love watching them! At this point, it's hard for me to say who I think will get the nomination. At one point, everyone (including myself) was certain it would be Perry or Romney. Clearly that is not the case. Cain is leading the polls at 26%. However with the latest so called "scandal" we shall see what happens. Now, if I may side track from the topic for a moment, I can not believe the big deal everyone is making out of Herman Cain he did nothing wrong! It's just another classic example of the leftest media making a big deal out of nothing! Anyway, Newt Gingrich is an incredibly intelligent man. I love the way he turns the questions around on the moderator. He seems to unify the party. I wouldn't mind a President Gingrich. Honestly, I wouldn't mind a President Cain or Perry either! Mitt Romney is the best debater up there at the debates if you ask me. The man is wonderful at it. Would I like him to run my country? Absolutely not. Rick Santorum. I really like his ideas however, he is at 1.8% in the polls.... Right next to Huntsman who, well let's just not talk about Huntsman.

Paul and Bachmann are not going to get the nom, yet, there they are.

Well ladies and gentlemen, that is all I have time for!

Until next time, God is love, Adele's lyrics are amazing, Africa is mesmerizing, America is the greatest nation on God's green earth and fried shrimp is awesome!

Meg :)

P.S. Here are some pictures of my life lately. :)
